My love for 3D art stemmed from my design class in secondary school, using the first basic pro-desktop CAD software I became obsessed with being able to create anything in 3D, as it just seemed one continual exciting jigsaw puzzle for me, the challenge being that the puzzle always changed.
I am currently doing my MSc Thesis in 3D Games Modelling, my undergraduate degree being BSc Hons in Computer Games Design from Staffordshire University. I have a keen interest in all forms of 3D art, from CG to low poly game art.
My experience prominently lies in hard surface modelling in AutoDesk 3DS Max, however I also have experience in character modelling in said package as well as Autodesk's Maya and Pixologic's Zbrush.
In my tenure at Staffordshire University I have had the fortunate experience of using the Vicon Motion capture system from Rare Studios, and processing data using Auto Desk's Motion Builder and Character Studio Packages.
Being interested in Animation and 2D art as well as 3D I am well verse in the Adobe suite packages, including PhotoShop, Premier Pro and After Effects.
I recently achieved a Level 1 Archery Coaching course qualification, along with Level 1 First Aid. and have been a Qualified Level 1 Community Sports Leader since 2005. I find it a really enjoyable experience to pass on my knowledge of archery to a new generation of potential athletes, the course itself involved team building and preparation exercises.
My interest in photography came from being a regular contributor to deviant art. After seeing some of the stunning pieces of work done on there I decided I would like to push into that world and see what was in it, I currently use the tools below to capture some of the work you can see in my galleries
Canon EOS 450D
18-55mm Kitlense
55-250mm Telephoto Lense
360 AFD Flash Gun
Sigma 10-20mm Wide Angle Lense
